Prof. Sathyanarayana N Gummadi has been serving as the 14th Dean (Students)
since 2023. He is a
chemical
engineer by profession and is currently working as Professor in the Department of Biotechnology,
IIT
Madras.
In his capacity as Dean (Students), Prof. Gummadi is responsible for the administration of
hostels,
and
student activities such as sporting events, cultural activities, and publications. He is also
responsible for the maintenance of student discipline. He chairs the Board of Students, a Board
that
formulates policies for the conduct of extra-curricular activities and the functioning of
hostels
subject to the approval of the Senate.
