The Student Election Commission is constituted of:

• Chief Election Officer (CEO)
• Deputy Election Officer (DEO)
• Student Judicial Commission members
• Speaker, Student Legislative Council

In order to facilitate its smooth functioning, the Student Election Commission selects student coordinators to assist it in conducting the elections. Applications to this post are open to the entire General Student Body.

Responsibilities:

• The conduct of all elections prescribed in the Constitution in a free and fair manner
• Issuing and publicizing the Code of Conduct and campaign restrictions
• Arbitration of complaints through the Grievance Committee
• Announcing the dates and times for the following:
• Filing of nominations
• Withdrawal of nominations
• Complaints regarding nominations
• Date of elections
• Declaration of results
• Specifying procedures for filing and withdrawal of nominations
• Announcing the list of valid nominations and the results of the elections to the General Student Body
